Portfolio Development-Proposal

Theme:

My portfolio will be themed as “Impressionist”. Impressionist art is a style in which the artist captures the image of an object as someone would see it if they just caught a glimpse of it. My work for either types of media will be either how I first view it or hear it and I’ll make my works in a way that when my audience see it, immediately, they will be attracted to it. An example will be controlling the lighting effect as light effect can create certain impression to the image.It also helps to emphasis on certain areas such as the message in words or through movements that I will want to portray.

Objectives:

 This portfolio is created to showcase my works for either my prospective employers or to get into an ideal university. For the university requirements, this portfolio is to reflect my interests, experience and competencies in the arts. As for my prospective employers, this portfolio is to show my capability in handling the job scope of the company.

Skills to show:

I’ll be showcasing my skills in the media such as two-dimensional, three dimensional, time-based, games, audio recording, website, photography etc.

To display my skills, I’ll be using software like Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection, HTML etc.

Presentation:

I’ll be presenting my work through a webpage full of colours of my own.  In the webpage, I’ll include navigations such as Home, About Me, Portfolio, Contact me. Under Home tab, a short description of me and updated works of mine will be published. About Me tab will include updated Information like my profile, my philosophy of design and my competency as well. As for the Portfolio tab, my work will be categorized accordingly. Each work of mine will be dated accordingly from the start of the making to the end of it. Lastly, contact will include my up to date email address, handphone number and mailing address.
